Day One Society is excited to announce its Annual General Meeting (AGM), happening on Tuesday, September 24th at the Kamloops Curling Club on 700 Victoria St. starting at 6:45 p.m.
This meeting is open to the public and will celebrate the Society’s accomplishments over the last year.
The agenda for this year’s event includes:
AGM Business: An overview of Day One Society's key achievements, financial updates, and future plans.
Recognition of Out of the Ashes Bursary Recipients: Day One Society will honour the recipients of the Out of the Ashes Bursary, which provides educational support to youth and adults in Kamloops with at least one year of recovery. During the AGM, we will proudly recognize and celebrate the exceptional achievements of these outstanding recipients.
Staff Service Awards: Day One Society will be recognizing staff members for their dedication and service to the organization.
“We are excited about this year’s AGM and look forward to celebrating seven Out of the Ashes Bursary recipients, as well as a number of staff members who are receiving Service Awards for their longstanding commitment to Day One Society. It is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and acknowledge the incredible efforts of these individuals,” said Sian Lewis, executive director of Day One Society.
